Kodak Gallery- Month 8

Here are the pictures from this past month. I can't believe Jayce is 8 months old already. Seems like just yesterday he was born! But he is a fun little baby for sure and brings a smile to anyone's face. We found out this past month that he LOVES the water...which Keith was secretly praying for! He is also very excited about the dog and cats. Now that he is crawling I think the animals will learn to stay away, else they'll get tugged on.

And he's crawling!

One day before his 8 month birthday Jayce decided to officially crawl. He's been doing the commando crawl for a couple of weeks now, but this was the first 4 legged real crawl we've seen. We tempted the little guy with baby goldfish! Enjoy the video.

Jayce' first boat ride!

Ah yes, Jayce had another milestone this past weekend...he went on his first boat ride!!

Keith's dad, Keith, Jayce & I went for a leisurely cruise up the CT river. We fitted Jayce with his lifejacket and kept our fingers crossed. The little guy was actually pretty tired as he didn't take a good nap that morning (as I was out and about shopping) but the vibration of the engines soon put him to sleep. Ah Grampy Narrow would be so proud! He had a pretty good boat ride we have to say...but that lifejacket is so constricting! He could barely sit up on his own and it was making him pretty hot. But he has to wear a lifejacket on a boat until he is 13 years old so I guess he better get used to them!

But since he was so hot, we finished off the day with a swim in the pool at the marina....and I do have to say (and other people were even commenting) that Jayce LOVED the water. He had so much fun first floating around in his lifejacket (of course Keith and I had to test it out to make sure it worked) and then Keith let him swim around for a bit. Jayce did not want to get out of the water...and even tried to crawl back into the water afterwards. Oh Keith is in his glory...another water lover in the family.

Incident

So Keith goes to pick Jayce up from daycare yesterday and they tell him there there was an incident involving Jayce that day! So Keith is thinking the worst right?! What did our "toy stealing" little boy do this time? So, I guess some other kid wanted a toy that Jayce was playing with and decided to go over to Jayce and bite him on his hand! I guess Jayce started crying. :( There was no real damage to the hand and you wouldn't even know it now that anything happened...but the poor little guy. But Keith is so funny...as he explains it the daycare teachers were SO apologetic and Keith was like..."hey I have 4 brothers and sisters, if there is no blood or permanent lifetime damage all is well!"
