First major RV malfunction

We had our first major RV malfunction, one of our tires blew apart @ 65mph on the way to Yellowstone, the dual axel really helped keep the RV stable, enough that you almost couldn’t tell you had a flat unless you saw the tire shreds fling in the air! We had the spare on in @ 30 minutes (could have been faster but I kept moving to the rear of the RV when the big rigs went by). We found a great repair shop outside of Yellowstone and the RV has 4 new tires (didn’t trust our other 4+ year old tires). In addition, we found one rim was bent (not sure how that happened? or the previous owner) and 3 bad lug nuts that don’t stay torqued. I would say by the end of the trip we will have all the bugs worked out.

Good thinking to replace the other three trailer tires! Glad to hear all is well.
