It must be a honeymoon period!

So I think we are in a honeymoon period as everything has been perfect this week. Kaelyn is an angel baby. She eats, sleeps & poops (oh and boy does she poop!). Even when she is awake she just hangs out and looks around. She's been staying awake for a good portion of every morning and a brief period in the evening. At night she gets up eats and goes back to bed, she doesn't have her mornings and nights reversed like Jayce did...but then again we never had these first few weeks with Jayce as he was in the NICU so we aren't sure what to expect.

Also Jayce has been wonderful with her. He's tries to give her toys and food and points out her ears, nose, toes etc. He's a little rough with her as we really haven't taught him to be "easy" yet, so that has been the new task of the week. But he really wants to play with her already and he hasn't shown any of the jealousy streak that we were sure he was going to exhibit. Here is a cute picture of Jayce giving her a kiss.
